i know some people are super annoyed by people who post their food on instagram, but i’m not one of them! i love seeing the yummy things people are eating, i get inspired by it for my own future meals. so i’ve been sharing more of what my day to day eats look like on my own instagram. since i’ve been eating super clean there’s a ton of color and lots of vegetables! to answer a few questions i’ve gotten: {more after the jump}
hi everyone! hope you all had a great weekend and those of you in the states had fun and safe celebrations! our weekend was pretty mellow, but just what we needed. and you guys, guess what the best husband in the world the universe the galaxy did?! he got me an early birthday present, this phillip lim bag that i’ve been wanting for a couple of years now! YES HUSBAND, YOU WIN. you win a thousand times over. so my friends, you’ll be seeing a lot of it around here. it’s been a long time coming and i’ll be carrying it non-stop!! we’re going on a two week work-play trip to the east coast at the end of the month and this bag will be my saving grace on the planes, trains, boats and automobiles. hip hip! xx- sarah {more after the jump}

i hope all of my stateside friends had a wonderful holiday celebration yesterday! mine was not traditional- it was a spa day and dinner with some great friends in lieu of grilling and beach time but i wouldn’t have had it any other way! and today i offer up these grilled peaches, the easiest summer treat in town. tis the season for peaches and if you hadn’t guess, i cannot get enough! have an amazing weekend friends, i’ll see you back here next week with all sorts of goodness! xx- sarah {more after the jump}

i just love the mix of super girly with a bit of tomboy. case in point: this white lacy dress with sheer bits (does it get more girly?) and this army boyfriend jacket. they are, in my opinion, meant to be best friends. and can we talk about my new sunnies? i’m obsessed with them. karen walker can do no wrong in my book. lastly, i haven’t been to the hairdresser yet this year. and in fact, i think my last visit was late last summer, which means i’m slowly creeping up on a year. i’ve been doing my own trims, letting the color just be. and i pretend it’s part of my master plan. but here’s the truth: I AM SO LAZY ABOUT MY HAIR IT’S SHAMEFUL. please tell me i’m not the only one! xx- sarah

it hit 120 degrees here on saturday. for those of you operating in celsius that equates to roughly THE TEMPERATURE OF THE SUN. the one and only thing that will make a girl feel better about living on the sun: peach and pistachio coconut milk ice cream. yes, it’s a taste of heaven. and so easy to make, no heat involved, cleanup is a breeze, etc. and i promise you it tastes like ice cream, not some half-assed ice cream wannabe. actual creamy, sweet, rich, ice cream. except no cow udders were involved in the production. brilliant, right!? if it’s hot where you are, make this. if it’s warm where you are, make this. if you like eating things that taste like heaven, make this. until tomorrow, xx- sarah {more after the jump}
