a lady dog must ALWAYS watch her figure. no peanut butter for a week!
keeping the wedding ball rolling for just one more day…
since it’s kind of a wedding bonanza week around here, i figured i’d just keep the theme going. i promise, we’ll be back to regularly scheduled programming soon. dogs, style, food and decor are on the horizon! (bean is secretly relieved that she hasn’t been dressed, posed or styled into some ridiculous photo in a good solid week. ha!)
as for that stunning photo- we just added a new, amazing photographer to our flock at birds of a feather! head over here to see her most recent work which makes me want to drag lou out to a field at sunset to be photographed by her. this series is so romantic and i’m obsessed with sarah’s hair!
lastly, i just wanted to say a big, huge, public thank you to all of you for the overwhelmingly sweet comments and emails you’ve sent. i’m pretty positive that you are the best blog readers in the whole wide world, and i’m so thankful for your visits to this here corner of the interweb. lots of love to all of you! *photo by jen lauren grant
wedding part III
here it is, the grand finale! our wedding video is BEYOND what i ever could have dreamed. brian edited in footage from different times we’ve spent with him (my favorite being some time in hawaii last spring) and captured the spririt of our day so perfectly it’s unbelievable. and below that, the photos of our dear friends brian, max and margaux. we love them beyond measure and are so grateful that they shared this day with us and documented it in such an artistic, beautiful and loving way. we love you guys!!!
our wedding part II
right after the ceremony we took photos until the sun went down. it was pure fun, lots of laughing and kissing and joking around with max, margaux and brian. we were like giddy school kids. i couldn’t have asked for anything more. and then we were off to an incredible dinner at lucques!
i know i’m biased because i love both max and of course my husband and our wedding day, but i think these photos are just SO beautiful! lou and i don’t have that many photos of us together (cobbler with no shoes situation) and we don’t actually display any photos of us in our home, so I’m over the moon with these and can’t wait to frame a bunch for our bedroom!
up next: the video. and trust me, it’s worth the wait! i have watched it dozens of times (i will refrain from giving an actual number lest you think i’m a completely obsessed narcissist). it makes me cry each and every time. so much love.
and if you’re still looking for more romance on this fine tuesday, 100 layer cake posted our engagement story here! it’s a good one. and lou may or may not have teared up reading it before i emailed it off. we are a couple of sentimental saps! *photos by max wanger
our wedding part I
we held onto these photos for a bit longer than we originally planned but i am so happy to finally be sharing them with you! i wrote about our wedding for green wedding shoes here and 100 layer cake here, so please go there for the skinny on our day, the people involved and the reason we eloped instead of hosting a big shebang! i’m going to follow up with the rest of my favorites later today and then our video to wrap it all up in the afternoon! thanks so much for following along, i have been looking forward to this day for so long! xo *photos by max wanger
justin + jeanette
today i shared a wedding i shot recently for birds of a feather here (more of the decor can be seen on design sponge- it’s defintiely worth peeking at!). below are some of my favorite moments from their ceremony- and truth be told THIS is what makes me tick at weddings. the decor, dress, and pretties are all fun and lovely, but these are the photos that matter to me the most- the moments that really convey the love and emotion of the day. they get me every single time. (more after the jump)
in other wedding news- tomorrow we’re finally sharing our own wedding! get excited: it’s going to be a weepy, sentimental romance-fest!
