FRIDAY FOODIE LINKS

Oatmeal_toppings

Happy Friday my friends!  What’ve you got on the books?  Lou and I have been sick all week with a cold (UGH!) so I’m hoping we turn a corner and feel better in time to enjoy some weekend fun!  I’d love to hit the pool, spend some time in the kitchen cooking up some healthy, tasty meals, and in my dream weekend I’d love to get an early morning hike in with Lou and Bean on Sunday.  But we shall see what the universe has in store for us!  How are those of you who are joining me in Eat Clean August doing?  I’ve been loving it!  I feel like my skin is getting a little glowy and I’m falling in love with vegetables all over again.  Ok, I’m leaving you with a list of yummy links for your weekend.  Have fun!  xx- Sarah

How fun are these color wheel wraps?!

A grilled veggie Mediterranean inspired salad that makes me want to book a flight and dip my toes in another sea.

This cherry hazelnut energy bar will keep you going if you’ve got adventurous plans for the weekend.

OMG whipped double chocolate chia pudding, omg!  (and easily made vegan)

Vegan carrot cake– definitely have your cake and eat it too!

Who knew that vegan oreos were even a thing?!  I’m on it.

This black bean salad with an easy citrus dressing is right up my Summertime alley!

Cold soups are the perfect summer treat , aren’t they?

These raw macqui cashew lime bites look perfectly tart and delish!

This harissa lentils and cauliflower dish would be so good served over quinoa.

I’ve been really enjoying eating better and with more intention. It’s so nice to have a reset and find myself craving fresh vegetables. But I got a cold today, too! How weird.

Luv your blog. Have been reading for some time. The pictures and recipes are why I show up. Luv these! My husband ( 31 years married ), has same diagnosis so many foods are difficult for him- so you are an inspiration and the meals/recipes are so good to try for him. Thank-you. I just tried ( LOVED) your parfait. I used my food prosssor and now want an immersion blender.
So touched by your story. I as well was sorry to read about your recent loss-pictures were beautiful. Take care, I will be reading on!
