I love the geo print drapey front pleat shorts and the floral stone stretch bracelet – such fun, unexpected little items to add to my closet! Their basic tanks are awesome too – not too tight, but the straps don't slide down and it covers all the right places :)

Ann Taylor! Oh man, what a throwback. I worked at an Ann Taylor many years ago as a High School summer job. I was the youngest employee by like, 30 years, but the experience left such a HUGE impression on me. Middle age women never get told they're beautiful, it seems, like they should be. I would tell a 40-something customer "that dress make your legs look amazing" and I swear it was like it was the first time someone had ever told them that in years. Society tends to focus on the beauty in youth, and beauty in the 65 plus… not that Ann Taylor is for the middle-age group, but I love that it addresses the beauty in the in between, which, frankly, is the majority. Okay, I'm ranting. Just to say… very cool to see this pop up on the feed today. 10 years later after work as a temp-employee, I think I'd rock the Tipped Stretch Jacket and the Wool Blend Duffle Coat.

I'm sorry but I have to pick the sweater you're wearing, it's fab! Also I've been dying for something like the open weekender cardigan and love that it's not a thick material as I'm quite short and thick knits aren't very flattering on me!

My first choice is the Collared Sleeveless Linen Top in Riviera Blue. I'd dress it up in a patterend suit (when it's hot and I don't want those long sleeves underneath a jacket!) or I would tuck it into a pair of high-waste jeans and heels for a more casual look. Second choice is the Georgette Sleeve Sweater. Simple and elegant, can't go wrong. I also have to give a third choice because I heart – Petite Drapey Crepe Ankle Pants. Thanks!

HAHAHA, somehow LOFT and Ann Taylor have incognito introduced some "is that Steven Alan, Club Monaco or Joie" stuff into the mix of late – totally my on the down low guilty pleasure. I seem to always go nuts and buy 5 of their blouses at a time during the 40% – 60% off sales! Which, come to think of it, totally don't wrinkle (in a good way) I guess because they're synthetic. I'm totally into the cream/nude/white stuff – and the open backed knit sweater right now.

Two items – are you kidding? I ordered a pile if Ann Taylor items yesterday. The majority of my wardrobe is AT, combined with the fact that I adore navy, I couldn't control myself. Super sharp are the zebra cardigan (did I mention I work at a zoo?!) and the stunning navy seamed pencil skirt that is an online exclusive. Not to mention the three adorable sweater dresses I ordered. Two are navy if course! Also loving the new shoe collection, but I had to stop.

My absolute favorite dress of the entire collection has to be the seamed colorblock sheath dress. I love how it's the perfect professional dress, then can easily be transformed into a going out dress. I'm also a huge fan of the chevron flounce skirt. It's so flirty and cute!
