Elizabeth and James Dress Goodness

ELIZABETH_JAMES_DRESS_a_house_in_the_hills-7

I’ve had this adorable Elizabeth and James dress for a few  months and I wear it nonstop (on casual days with these booties or these sandals).  I wore it to meetings in NY a couple of months ago and had my most embarrassing moment of 2014 when, after getting out of a cab, it somehow got caught up in my jacket exposing my bum to the entire city on a massively busy street corner.  WHOOPS!  And, WHY DID I NOT FEEL THE DRAFT?!  It happens to the best of us?  Please tell me it does!  And many thanks to the kind girl who came up to let me know I was flashing, I owe you a  big one.  xx- Sarah

Beautiful dress, beautiful shoes, beautiful bag and beautiful girl 😉 I am sooo afraid that my dress gets stuck in another cloth when I wear one that I always carefully check it after I sat down or went to the bathroom! So far I didn’t had any problems, however it sometimes happened that the wind in the streets lifted my dress or skirt! Once I even had to go back home and change dress because it was flying way to much in the wind and I couldn’t walk in the streets without eitheir exposing my underwear or grabbing the dress frimly and walk akwardly and looking very stupid!

Thanks Nina! I need to start being more careful too! And I have had the wind/dress experience too, it’s so embarrassing! But luckily almost every other woman that sees you gets it. It’s the men that are so dumbfounded by the silly things we do sometimes because of our fashion choices, I’m pretty sure they’re the ones thinking we’re crazy walking down the street clinging to the ends of our dresses! haha! 🙂

ha!!! Thank you! And yes, I hope it finds it’s way to you and I hope it stays properly in place when it does. Just leave it home on particularly gusty days. 🙂

Dress looks great on you. I love that print and had ordered their pretty swingy tank in this print but it ran huge and I had to return it. The jacket and bag really turn this wispy dress into a substantial outfit. I’m sure you can wear it a million ways.

It’s such a great print! There’s a skirt they made in it as well- it’s too short and ruffly for me but it’s on sale at Shopbop if you’re interested! 🙂

You = TOTAL BABE. I hope Lou reminds you every. single. day.

PS – I’m that stranger who tells people when their fly’s down, when they have crap in their teeth, etc. I can only hope someone would do the same for me. 😉
