PRESSED JUICERY, A GIVEAWAY!

My friends, I’m soooo excited to announce that today I’ll be giving away two cleanses from the amazing Pressed Juicery!  Lou and I recently completed a 4 day and 6 day cleanse, respectively.  I’d planned on doing 7 days and Lou had planned on doing 3, but he didn’t want it to end (!!!!) so I gave him one of my days.  I’ve done quite a few juice cleanses but it was brand new to Lou, and it was so fun to do it together! Click through to read about our experiences and find out how to win a cleanse for yourself!

As I mentioned above, I’m not new to juice cleanses.  I’m a huge fan of cleansing to reset my eating habits, boost my immune system, and give my body a huge dose of nutrition while also giving my digestive system a rest.   But while I’ve done my fair share of juice cleanses, I’m totally new to having a cleanse delivered. What a HUGE difference it makes!  Designing my own cleanses, buying produce, juicing, cleaning up after juicing- it makes cleansing a lot more complicated. And there have definitely been times where I haven’t consumed as many juices in a day as I should have out of sheer exhaustion/laziness.  Having juices delivered made such a world of difference in my cleanse experience!  While Lou and I both struggled through the normal amount of hunger on the first day (hello hungry-angry!), with the amount of juices we were drinking it was completely tolerable.  And by day three I was having thoughts like “I could never eat again!”  This was crazy-cleanse Sarah talking, of course,  and by the time Day six was over I was really, really ready to eat again.  But that lightness that comes with a juice cleanse, its something special!

The brilliance of Pressed Juicery, to me, is in the variety of flavors and combinations.  I find that having nothing but juice for days on end can be a real battle of wills, but having the option to mix in amazing flavors/combination like watermelon mint, strawberry apple lime, and cucumber-pineapple-lemon-coconut I never got bored and was always excited for the next juice to come!  And that’s without even mentioning their almond milk, which is the best I’ve ever had.  Thick, creamy and rich its the perfect dessert to end a long day of juices.  We also included the chlorophyll water and aloe h20 in our daily juice routine, which we both really loved, if only for the idea that they were doing our insides good!

If you’ve never done a juice cleanse before this is the way to do it- having the juices delivered (or pre-made if you live near a Pressed Juicery and can pick-up) takes the guesswork out and makes a challenging endeavor that much more manageable (GOODBYE JUICER CLEANUP!).  I don’t know if I can go back to slaving over my juicer for my homemade cleanses, this was just too good.  Now, see below to find out how to win a cleanse for yourself!

********************************************

DETAILS ABOUT THE GIVEAWAY:  Head on over to Pressed Juicery’s website and check out the 3 types of cleanses they offer.  Leave a comment below about what cleanse you’d try and what juice you’d most look forward to!  Please don’t forget to include your email address in the comment form to be notified in the event you win.  Two winners will be chosen at random a week from today, Tuesday October 15th and contacted via email. Continental US residents only please.  Thank you so much Pressed Juicery for this amazing opportunity for A House in the Hills readers!  I am already SO excited for the winners!

**UPDATE** Congratulations to winners Hilary and Elizabeth!  This giveaway is now closed but stay tuned for other great opportunities!  xx- Sarah

I've had single juices from pressed, but never a full cleanse. #1 seems like a good option, because I've been wanting to try all of them :)

Oh, I have wanted to try a cleanse for-ev-er!! And yes, cleaning the juicer can really take it out of you.
Since its my first I'd try the cleanse one and try to go for 5 days. My fave to try would be The chocolate or vanilla almond :)

I would choose Cleanse 3 for 5 days. I've done cleanses before, but I really feel like my body needs a 3 right now. I would look forward feeling slim, my skin becoming clearer, and my eating habits really changing afterwards. I'm about to get married in March so I need to reset my system and look great in a dress! The juice I would look forward to would definitely be the Vanilla Almond because it tastes like a milkshake after all of the green juices- I'm craving that vanilla bean, sea salt, and date combination right now!

I would make a custom cleanse with a focus on green juices but including one yummy citrus that sparks my interest. I've tried press juicery before, but the abundance of choices means there are so many yet to be tasted! I'm a CPA in public accounting and am currently working hellacious hours. A cleanse would take my mind off of cooking, meal planning, and stress eating. Nothing like eating healthy and still having belly bloat due to stress!

I have never done a cleanse, and being from Minnesota, there hasn't been any options for doing so locally until a couple of months ago. But, I am so, so interested in doing one and have been eyeing Pressed Juicery for some time now. The Cleanse 1 would probably be a good way to ease into it and with summer now over, it would be a great way to jump-start my metabolism for everything that comes with fall and winter (comfort food and red wine). Also, the chocolate almond milk sounds so amazing!!

The Cleanse 1 would be for me! I've never done a juice cleanse before, and I'm in the recovery process from an ACL surgery, so would definitely need the protein. The chocolate almond is my favorite flavor combination, but the greens 2 looks like a version of a juice I make myself (but better!).

Hello Sarah! I am a huge fan of your blog. Being a Wake Forest University junior and double-majoring in economics and psychology can be incredibly stressful, and part of my daily way to de-stress is to take twenty minutes and check my favorite blogs, including yours. Yoga, tea drinking, book reading before bed, and hiking in beautiful North Carolina or at home in southern California are other ways I try to use natural ways to relax. However, every once in a while I find it very useful to take a more intense approach to cleaning out the body and soul. I have done clean eating detoxes over winter and summer breaks home from school, and I would absolutely love to try a juice cleanse for the first time! Unfortunately, being a student also means that I don't have a lot of extra cash floating around, and these juices can get expensive. I would really appreciate the chance to try this cleanse, and I'd like to thank you for helping me to keep my sanity despite the stress of school one post a day.

Cleanse 1. I have always wanted to do a juice cleanse, but the thought of researching and buying a juicer, finding lots of recipes so my taste buds don't get bored, and then managing to keep all different kinds of fruits and veggies fresh in the house….is too much to overcome. I'm a working mom with two little ones so just trying to eat healthy is a challenge in itself. Although I exercise daily, there are times that I am really not eating quite right (getting the right nutrients, staying away from transfats, etc). Cleanse 2 advocates a healthy lifestyle, which is what I am on the road to get to. High efficiency juices are great for athletes and really keep you going all day long! Plus, it helps lower dependency on coffee and other drinks with high levels of caffeine by substituting for those needs, which is great! Not to mention, the juices sound super yummy!

I love food, but the 2nd cleanse looks amazing! I've started so many cleanses, but haven't been able to get past the first day just because of the time it takes and I'm always rushing out the door, having to can the whole thing. So discouraging. This looks great! Thank you!

I'd love to try cleanse number two. I haven't done a juice cleanse in over a year and have been thinking that now would be a good time. My favorite drinks from pressed are the carrot apple ginger and grapefruit mint which sadly aren't included in the cleanse : (.

!!! I had no idea this chain was in the bay area, so excited to have it within driving distance! Friends of mine in SoCal have told me about these.
I'm an athlete and have never done one of their cleanses (or any cleanse yet for that matter), so I would try the Cleanse 1 for some of the easier and higher cal juices. The green 3 kale and ginger juice is similar to one that I like making at home when I put some effort into juicing.
