our sweet lil christmas tree (and the loot!)

We are like a spastic 6 year olds when it comes to these presents.  Every day we wonder if we should open “just one”, which one is the “favorite”, which one we’re each going to open first, what we think is in “the big one”, who is going to “win” Christmas this year, etc.  This has been going on for weeks.  ONE MORE DAY.

a hungry man’s dinner

Lou’s appetite is a funny thing.  And by funny I mean wonderous and sometimes disturbing. The other night he ate 10 choc. chip cookies in a sitting.  And tonight, when I asked him what culinary masterpiece he would like for me to chef up for dinner he requested “a hungry man salisbury steak”. And there it is.  *this should not reflect poorly on my domestic goddess status, I whipped up some amazing chocolate cookie balls right after this (photographic evidence and recipe to come soon).  **Lou would also like it to be noted that he is not a complete fatass, he’s just “working on his belly full of jelly for the holidays”.
