Yahoo Style, Alexa Chung’s New Collection and a GIVEAWAY!

Alexa Chung is my personal Queen of Denim, I just think she’s always on point with her styling and has perfected the art of looking effortlessly put together.  So I was super excited to read this interview and use it as inspiration for today’s style post in partnership with Yahoo Style.  The article just made made me love her more and reaffirmed what I already suspected- she’s as fun, witty and charming as you’d think she’d be.  And she recently partnered with AG to create a collection that I’m absolutely obsessed with- including the jeans I’m wearing in today’s post!  They fit like a dream.

Ok, now for the giveaway details!  Yahoo Style is offering one lucky reader the two items from Alexa’s collection that I think are closet staples- the jeans I’m wearing in today’s post and what looks like it could very well be the perfect white tee (see below!)  Pop over to check out Alexa’s interview and check out the collection preview- leave a comment below about which piece(s) you’d be most excited to scoop up and a winner will be chosen at random next week.  International readers are invited to enter as well!     I have a pair of cuffed AG jeans that I love. After retiring them during pregancy I’d love to wear these as my body becomes mine again. And you can never go wrong with a white tee!

    Hilariously, finding a cute, well-fitting white tee is one of the hardest things for me. I want them to cost $10, which of COURSE they don’t, but I just can’t wrap my mind around it. So winning one would make my year :)

    I think the white tee and jeans you’ve mentioned above are an absolute wardrobe staple. Dressed up with a blazer and some ankle booties, or dressed down with a pair of low top converse and a beanie. Yes please! :)

    I’m lucky enough to work at a job that allows me to wear jeans; unfortunately, I tend to wear the same pair every day (Gross! Sorry, coworkers). These look perfect for 9am–5pm, as well as for after-hours. The white t-shirt makes for the most classic outfit!

    Those jeans are the perfect casual wear for around San Diego in the spring time -my favorite weekend wear! I love her Fifi high wasted denim shorts too -they are perfect for a day out at the beach (and more modest unlike so many other high wasted shorts being sold today!).

    Sweet interview with her. I like her honesty. The jeans! I sat next to a fashion buyer on the train the other day and she said categorically they’re the best at the moment. Especially if you normally get that baggy at the back of the waist thing, which I always do. :)
