I was reluctant to put a bar cart in our house, they’re so trendy right now and I’m just not that much of a booze hound (anymore). But Lou really REALLY enjoys his sazeracs, and I really REALLY needed something to fill this awkward bit of space at the end of our kitchen counters, so when I spotted this baby from Target it was a done deal. Filling up those little spaces makes the house feel so much cozier, so much more lived in, so I’m super happy to welcome this little cart to our home! We’ve got extra exciting things happening around here with the decorating and I’ve been sharing little sneak peeks over here, can’t wait to share a big update soon! Sources at the bottom for as much as I could wrangle up. Happy Friday friends! xx- Sarah

i debated it too when decorating our florida home, mainly because i thought it was too trendy! Ultimately i caved, got one, and promptly had a tequila tasting night:) also, great taste in cookbooks! i think i have most of those on my shelf:)
Love the idea of cookbooks on the bottom shelf!
I love this! I have been looking for a vintage bar cart, but due to their popularity they seem to be hard to come by. Even if they are a bit of a thing right now, I think that decorating them with interesting bottles and stemware can layer your space. Looks great!

While I think bar carts are cute and great for small spaces, I've never gotten one, mostly because I didn't want to give up the bar my husband and I had made from an old tv cabinet before bar carts were popular. Yours looks great though and I love the little pineapple! I'm a huge fan of the Moosewood cookbooks too!
sometimes if it's meant to be, you just gotta {have a bar card}. I think it's actually useful. I host quite a bit of parties. Sometimes outdoors, some indoors, focused around in the living room or dining. It's nice to be able to just move and casually set up where ever I want. x

YES! I was just telling my husband how our living area severely lacked a bar cart and I googled them and found one similar to this one! So lovely… and now I really want it.
Love the bar cart. Where did you find those glasses.
Thank Yael! The glasses are all vintage, found on etsy!
