i didn’t intend for this to be a recipe post, i was just making lunch. but when i saw how beautiful the plate looked i knew there was no way i couldn’t share it with you! there’s few things sweeter in life than a perfectly ripe and heavenly heirloom tomato in the summer, am i right? this dish is one that’s SO simple, but with the freshest, highest quality ingredients it’s absolutely rich in flavor. and the best part, it can be thrown together in minutes, but the heartiness of the chickpeas make it a satisfying meal. light, refreshing, healthy, delicious and quick: perfect for summer eating! hope you love! xx- sarah {more after the jump}
INGREDIENTS:
heirloom tomato
chickpeas
basil
balsamic vinegar
extra virgin olive oil
sea salt
fresh cracked pepper
METHOD:
i’m not going to be all captain obvious and go into instruction on how to make this dish, what you see is what you get. combine ingredients to your taste and enjoy! there is one small note though, as i mentioned above: find the highest quality, organic, freshest ingredients to ensure it tastes as good as it looks. when the flavors are simple like this you really need to have high quality ingredients to get the most out of it. enjoy!
