Happy Friday everyone! It’s a good week to have a weekend, isn’t it? I’m ready for some R&R, some good food, some friend-time. Now, let’s talk about the images above… yesterday I stumbled across artist Kristi Kohut (via Ashley Kane) and just about fell out of my chair. Her colorful paintings are a dream, her patterns are amazing, I’m pretty much just good ol’ fashioned obsessed. I would hang all of the above in our house, quite happily! Pretty amazing, right? Major inspiration. And some more in a quick roundup of links after the jump. Happy weekending! xx – Sarah
BEET AND BLOOD ORANGE SALAD
Today I have another winter salad for you, one so colorful and so fresh that you’ll forget that it’s not summer. I can’t promise it will make you forget any of your other problems, but don’t worry, I have a brownie recipe coming up soon to help with that! It’s probably a good time to start veggie loading so that when I pop those decadent chocolate brownies on you you’ll feel totally justified in eating them three at a time. And this salad is the perfect place to start- it’s beautifully simple and designed to highlight the ingredients in the most simple, flavorful way. I hope you love it as much as I do! xx- Sarah
HOME INSPIRATION
Welcome to Tuesday! I’ve got some major home inspiration for you- these spaces are a dream. And the last one- it’s literally the house that my dreams are made of. Click through to see the rest of the house tour, it’s seriously bananas. And the rest of these spaces aren’t too shabby either. Hope you love them as much as I do! xx- Sarah {more after the jump}
GRILLED PEARS WITH CINNAMON DRIZZLE
So I recently discovered something INSANELY AMAZING. I would liken it to that time Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon, if I was being modest. You know that whole popular way of writing “BEST. THING. EVER.”? It was made for this exact occasion. Every other time someone wrote it they were lying. It’s possible I’m hyping it up too much, except that I’m really not. Drum roll…..It’s cinnamon mixed with honey! I know, that sounds simple and not at all like being the first man to walk on the moon. But what do you even know about it? Just try it before you get all judgy on me. Grilled pears. Cinnamon drizzle. One girl’s life forever changed. I think I’ve said enough. xx- Sarah {more after the jump}
GAP STYLD.BY / 2
Happy Monday friends! As I mentioned recently, I’m alllll about comfort right now. Life can be hard, and when it is you need clothes that make it easier, right? I’ve been relying heavily on blouses and skinny jeans for that. I’m always a huge fan of white jeans and love what Gap has done with these – the blue patches add the perfect bit of something special. And these Rachel Zoe sneakers- I can’t tell you how much I love them. Three cheers to feeling cute and comfortable all at once! xx- Sarah {more after the jump}

OH YES YOU CAN
This year is FLYING BY, isn’t it?! I can’t believe we’re creeping up on March already. Around the New Year this inspiring message from Bhava Ram arrived in my inbox and I’ve been clinging to it. This message of hope and empowerment, it’s just what I need for this year. And I’m certain there are those of you reading who will love this reminder too. WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER. And I’m so grateful for that. Happy weekend everyone! xx- Sarah
