Happy Monday my friends, I hope you all had a great weekend! Let’s start the week off right with some home inspiration! This space- it checks so many of my boxes: bright, clean, unique, modern. It’s just all around lovely. And it makes a strong argument for neutral furniture with colorful accents! Ok, let’s shake off this Monday fog ad take this week by storm!!! See you tomorrow! xx- Sarah {images via}
Blueprint Registry
Happy Friday my friends!!! Today I’m so excited to introduce you to Blueprint Registry, a company who has completely reinvented the wedding registry situation in the best possible way! I was completely blown away when I was first introduced to their site- it’s everything I wanted but couldn’t find when we were getting married! We didn’t want to register at a major department store for the traditional gifts, nor did we want to register exclusively for a honeymoon. And since we had no options to accommodate our needs we actually didn’t register at all! But with Blueprint we could have chosen to register for a honeymoon (or cooking classes, a yoga studio membership, donations to our favorite charities, etc) AND we could’ve carefully curated a selection of items from any online store. Meaning we could have had Heath Ceramics in our registry beside handcrafted wood pieces from Primitive Reserve, a vintage chair from 1st Dibs and plane tickets to Fiji. A DREAM! All on a beautifully designed and effortlessly functional site. Seriously, you have to check it out. You can start by looking at my faux dining room registry. I love how they’ve organized it by room, so if the thought of purchasing another blender for a friend makes you cringe, you can skip the kitchen and head straight to the living room!
You know when you stumble across a business and they just totally get it? Like they’ve crawled into your brain and fulfilled every single one of your needs AND needs your didn’t even know you had? That’s Blueprint Registry for me. And yes, they sponsored this post. But I would’ve wanted you to know about the site regardless, because keeping something so good to myself just doesn’t feel right. Ok, have a great weekend everyone! I’ll pop back in tomorrow with some links to get you through a lazy Sunday morning! xx- Sarah
Simple Potato Kale Salad
I’m on the fence about whether this dish looks as good as it tastes, or even if it looks good at all. In person, it’s beautiful, delicious and satisfying. In photos, I’m not so sure. That happens to me sometimes when I’ve been looking at something too much, I start to question whether it’s good or awful! But I suppose whether a dish is photographic or not is irrelevant if it’s TASTY! And this is. Also, crazy easy to whip up. And hearty, warm, and so good for these cold days! Hope you love! xx- Sarah
Style Round Up – Oversized Scarves
The weather has finally cooled down enough around here to warrant a scarf- at least in the evenings- so I’m a happy gal! I love the way they complete an outfit, I love when my hair is tucked into one and I look like I have a bob, I love how cozy I feel when I tuck my face into one to protect me from the wind. I don’t know, honestly, how this turned into a love sonnet for scarves, but it kind of has. So I’m going to stop, now. Let these gorgeous ladies below serve as some scarf style inspiration for you! xx- Sarah {via 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5}
Apple Pie Cocktail
I’m pretty excited about today’s cocktail because APPLE PIE IS POSSIBLY THE BEST THING EVER! And a cocktail that tastes like apple pie?! GENIUS. So, you’re going to read the ingredient list and be all- ok Sarah, there’s no apples in this, maybe it’s time to lay OFF the cocktails. And maybe you’re right, I can’t say for sure. But either way I know these cocktails will go down as one of life’s great mysteries, but in the best possible way. Hope you love! xx- Sarah {This post was produced in collaboration with Sarah Dickenson}
