i love the pattern on this coat. might have to hem it a bit, and i’d have to try it on to see how i feel about those sleaves…but it’s a promising option for winter wear!
i also love this poncho. (and it’s on sale!) dreaming of a trip to the mountains…this ranch / resort in montana would be the perfect place to wear it!
lou and i went to see the national at the hollywood bowl last night with two of our favorite friends, max and margaux. it was our first time there and it immediately became my favorite spot to see live music. we packed a picnic and wine, chit chatted, saw an amazing show, people watched and got cozy under blankets when the sun went down…. it was magical. can’t wait to go bacl next summer!
this bloggity started out as a really ambitious project that lou and i created in october 2009. our idea was to post a picture a day. we made it less than a year. kind of typical. our hearts were in the right place when we started it, but life was too busy and we realized that the way we set it up to be took the fun out of it- made it feel like homework. we left it up because the archives remind of us the past, and it gives us warm fuzzies. a year later: i’m taking over! this will remain a visual record of our lives, but i’ll also be posting things that inspire me (us) from around the web. and i’m ditching the picture a day concept (phew!). i hope you like!
