my friend annie has style for miles. a los angeles native she lives in venice, surfs in malibu, has never died her blonde locks and once upon a time had a career as an actress. but that’s where the stereotypes end. she’s as smart, funny, talented and down to earth as she is pretty(!!!). love her to bits and so does everyone else who’s lucky enough to know her. i’ll be posting more of her this week, so get excited! poncho: vintage, shorts: madewell, tee: free people, shoes: dolce vita via endless, headband: UO, sunnies: club monaco
elizabeth antonia
one of my darling friends elizabeth has this incredible style that looks completely effortless and still so chic. i took some polaroids of her recently with this bad boy. isn’t she beautiful! follow her life and style on her sweet blog the littlest.
mom jeans i can get down with
our indian summer came to an end last week, but right before it did i brought my favorite tank top out for one last spin! i’m not sure these jeans are the most flattering on me {i can’t help but worry about the infamous “mom butt”!}, but i sure do love them! tank: UO, jeans: free people, shoes: seychelles (similar), bag: heather heron (as seen here!), bracelets: need supply, watch: marc jacobs via bloomingdales, ring: jcrew earings: shopbop
this post was brought to you by the jcrew end-of-summer sale
i packed clothes for 80 degree + weather (and nothing else) for our trip to palm springs. so obviously, it rained! which meant that we had to make a little shopping trip to the jcrew store for something warm for me to wear, and lucky for me it was their end of summer sale! i found some great deals and a few warm things to throw on in the desert. of course, as soon as i bought said warm clothes it immediately started getting hot again. but this outfit was the perfect combo for a cool evening in the desert. shorts, sweater, vest, flops, bracelet: jcrew, watch: marc by marc jacobs via bloomindales, ring: kate spade, photos by lou mora
jack spade striped hoodie
the other day i saw this jack spade hoodie on gilt and scooped it up for lou as quick as my fingers could press “buy”. it’s the softest, coziest material. and hugging him when he’s wearing it- it’s pretty great.
