Happy Tuesday everyone!  Are you watching the World Cup?  I AM!!!!  I  had so much fun cheering on the US yesterday, what a game!  I don’t usually get too involved in sports watching but I make exceptions a couple times a year.  And I’m so glad I did!  All of that has nothing to do with today’s post, which is really all about these shorts!  I can’t find them online anywhere in this pattern, but it’s really the fit of them that won me over anyway.  And I did find them in black, and on crazy sale here (and in more sizes, in a slightly less crazy sale here).  Happy shopping and happy World Cup watching!  xx- Sarah

WIDE LEGGED STRIPED SOULMATE PANTS

Is it possible to have soulmate pants?  If so, I found mine!  Graphic and bold and wide-legged : they’re the bees.  I’ll dress them down for Palm Springs day-life by wearing them with sandals and a crop top.  And, as here, I’ll dress them up  for night with heels, a blouse and a clutch.   There’s a million and one ways I’ll style them, they’re gonna get a lot of wear out of this gal!   And, I have my eye on this jumpsuit too.   It’s on sale and it might be my romper soulmate so I should probably just jump!!!  Happy Monday friends!  xx- Sarah

ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER ROMPER

YOU GUYS!!!!!  At first glance you probably think I’m wearing a dress.  BUT I’M TOTALLY NOT!  It’s a romper, I’m sneaky like that.  And, more specifically, it’s a CULOTTES ROMPER!!!  I’m sorry for all the shouting.  No I’m not.  It’s a CULOTTES ROMPER!!!!  This is exciting to me on so many levels, so many strange, weird levels.  I spent ten minutes trying to come up with a name for it.  Rompulottes was the best I managed (pathetic!).   But what do you think?  Culottes romper, yay or nay?!  xx- Sarah

THE ZARA BLAZER OF MY DREAMS

A good blazer is pretty much the best thing you can have in your closet, right?  This one from Zara was made just for me, I swear!  The cut of it is insanely good, the faux leather detail, the gold zippers on the pocket and sleeves- everything about it is just perfection!  Well done designers at Zara, my hats off to you!  And the striped dress, just FYI- on sale for $56.  Can’t beat that!  Happy shopping!  xx- Sarah

GAP STYL.D BY 6

In my final installment of the 6 part Gap Styld.by series I paired a casual menswear inspired shirt with a skirt and heels that give it a little edge.  It’s these kind of closet pairings that make me the most happy, they show me again and again that there is ALWAYS another way to wear something!  My normal instinct with this shirt would be to throw it on with a pair of white skinnies and tan sandals, a perfectly casual and comfortable everyday outfit.  But I love it dressed up just as much!  Hope you love!  xx- Sarah
