I’m annoying in my love for Australians and their design sensibilities, I know it. I get the same twinge of “ugh, enough already” when I find myself going on about how much I love what they’re doing that I do when I read about other people’s obsession with French people. As if a population is somehow better at life (or design as it may be in my particular case). BUT, then I stumble across an image somewhere, follow the rabbit hole to the bottom and discover that the home I’ve fallen in love with is in Australia. And I give up. I surrender to my own simplistic self who loves Australian design and thinks they ARE somehow doing it better. Case in point: this house. It’s my inspiration for our next home. Light wood floors, spaces that feel clean and open, modern but inviting. I dig it. It can’t be helped, I love what they’re doing and as much as I try to fight it, they’re winning. xx- Sarah { photos: Citizens of Style for Inside Out Magazine
I feel EXACTLY the same Sarah. I’ve got a serious continent design crush too, it’s been growing for ages! But then, I’ve also got a California Crush as well so don’t worry! I’m double dating, ha ha 🙂
Good to get this gaming console. I love it
