Happy Thursday my friends! I’ve been slowing down in every aspect of my life this year, enjoying the journey instead of focusing so much on the destination. And simplifying where I can! One of the things that I’ve started doing in my new slower-paced life is sending handwritten notes to friends. There’s something special about putting pen to paper and popping a card in the mail to let someone know how much you love them. And, on the other end, I know I’m always so happy to receive snail mail from a loved one, and thoughtful notes mean the world to me!
Hallmark Signature asked me to choose a few of my favorite cards from their collection to share with you and, of course, I was immediately drawn to the metallics! I doubt the day will come that I WON’T be drawn to gold! These cards that align with my style, have sweet messages and plenty of space for writing my sentiments are winning right now. And I especially love the ones that have three dimensional details- they really come to life! I I hope this inspires you to take a moment to write a note to a loved one letting them know how much you they mean to you! xx- Sarah {This post was produced in partnership with Hallmark Signature to promote their #SignatureStyle collection. These cards are so cute! I definitely am drawn to gold and metallics too! They are always just so pretty

Love this! I’ve just finished my first year of college and am about to start my second. Last year I bought postcards from my campus bookstore and sent them to my friends. I had meant to send them out the first month of college, but I kept neglecting to buy stamps and I ended up mailing them out the last month of college. I had to add amendments to every single postcard but it was fun 😛 I think my friends appreciated the cheeky little “oops this is eight months late lol” note. Or that’s what I tell myself anyway. I think it worked out well though, because by that time they had completely forgotten about my initial intentions to send them postcards, so it was a nice little surprise! I’ll probably do more of that this year too 🙂 -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
