Happy Friday everyone!! So I have a little update on the house selling- we accepted what turned out to be a too good to be true offer 3 days after we listed the house and went into escrow. At the very last minute the buyer backed out because of personal reasons, and we’re back at square one. But because we have such a load of work/travel commitments these next couple of months, we took it off the market until January when we can actually put our energy into a move again. Selling a house is insanely stressful, I had no idea! The first (and only) days it was on the market were insane- we were grabbing the pups and running out of the house every couple of hours for showings, fielding calls from our realtor about potential buyers and generally just running around like chickens with paper bags over our heads. It was a wild ride! But now that we know what to hopefully expect, we can be a little more prepared when the new year rolls around. So that’s that. We’ll enjoy this insanely lovely house for a couple more months and see what happens in January! And if you have any tips for surviving a house-sale and move, I’d love to hear ‘em! Ok, I hope you all have a relaxing, yummy, fun-filled weekend! Links after the jump….xx- Sarah {image via}

We recently sold our family home of many years and it was very stressful. Keep focused on what is important, you want to move to be closer to loved ones…your doggy’s will be happy as long as they are with you. Life is a journey, and by next summer you will happily be settled into your new place. Keep your goals firmly focused in front of you. You go girl…
Such great links – and congrats on staying in your home a little longer! I have no doubts that it will be snatched up rather quickly again come January…it is stunning after all! Xo, Alison

Hi there Dear, are you really visiting this site on a regular basis,
if so then you will without doubt take good experience.
You probably weren’t able to sell your house because Mercury is in retrograde. We were trying to buy a house & it just fell through.
That carrot, tomato, and coconut soup needs to be sitting in front of me now!!

I’ve recently sold and bought a flat — and moved to a new city — and it is very stressful, yes. In particular, if you move to something that is a lot smaller and you own a lot of stuff… I would recommend to keep your focus and accept that you will live in a state of emergency for a few months, which is OK because the end result is going to be great. Also, prepare well and write lots of lists. LOTS. In Norway, we normally only have two hours of open house, in the afternnoon, so you only need to keep your house pristine at this one time. Unless it doesn’t sell…
Hey, the recipe and the pictures make me really hungry. Thanks for sharing. I’m gonna to try it.
However the unboxing target market isn’t comprised totally
of kids obtaining a summer favorite of Christmas-morning exhilaration.
