pleather jeans i can't quit you!

i decided to give pleather (or "vegan leather") pants a go, putting aside my bad feeling about pleather leggings and pairing them with a cozy oversized sweater and my favorite moccasin boots.  it's the kind of outfit you wear to kick dirt or otherwise pretend to be a little bit more badass than you are. i think this pair is going to be a closet staple worn with long tunics, oversized sweaters and this blouse.

pants: blank denim (similar), sweater: free people (here, here) moccasin: minnetonka (old)

love love love that sweater!!

I wear my fake leather leggings an embarrassing amount. They are my favorite and magically look awesome regardless of how often I've been exercising or how many 2nd helpings of delicious thanksgiving food I've eaten.

I currently love wearing them with a long tank and oversized knit cardigan. Throw on a pair of heels and they look dressed-down chic (at least I think so).

These pictures are gorgeous! And I must get my hands on a pair of faux leather leggings - I've just been too chicken to try the trend.
