INSPIRING SPACES

Happy Friday everyone!  I am full on in the throes of decorating so houses and design is pretty much all I can think about.  Which, for a gal like myself, is just pure FUN!  So today I wanted to share a little home inspiration from down under.  I don't know if I'm more obsessed with koala bears, Australia in it's entirety or this house.  All three are pretty much so loaded with awesomeness that I can hardly stand myself.  Can a family in Australia adopt us please?  We'll cook for you and take photos of your dogs like no other, I promise!  See more of this amazing space after the jump and have an incredible weekend my friends!  xx- Sarah (images via)

INSPIRING SPACES : MINIMALISM AT IT'S FINEST

I'm in love with this home tour from Apartment Therapy, photographed by Leela Cyd.  It's right up Lou's design alley, he'd be SO right at home in such a well edited space, where nothing extraneous remains and everything has it's place.  I need a space to be filled up a bit more to feel like home to me, but I can definitely appreciate the minimalist approach and this home is shining example of it!  Fortunately Lou is flexible and can live happily in a space that's quite the opposite of minimalist.  What do you think?  Do you love this well-edited spaced or do you prefer a little more to look at?  xx- Sarah {more after the jump}

i love myself some bold color in a house!  that green velvet couch in the first photo and the pink rug and pillow in the second?  i die.  and those spots in the bathroom!  will definitely be remembering that for a future house of ours.  happy friday my friends, have an amazing weekend!  xx- sarah
