INSPIRING SPACES – BRIGHT AND COLORFUL

Marni-kitchenwide

I can’t even cope with how beautiful the photos of this space are.  Just another Australian home I’m dreaming about getting adopted into!  I know, my Australia obsession is kind of annoying but with everyone being so obsessed with France and French women, maybe I’m just throwing some balance into it?  I don’t care where this house is, it’s ridiculously good.  And it makes me want white floors in my bedroom.  And more plants, stat! Hope you love it as much as I do!  xx- Sarah  (via The Design Files)

Beautiful! I totally agree about the French thing being overdone, kudos to you for what is bound to be the next ‘big thing’. I love how it looks like this house might have a little atrium or something (the bathroom picture) – I’m all over simple Australian architecture that celebrates natural light and barefoot spirit.

Well im an Aussie girl and I love hearing these such things! I think our style is very mulitcultural and open just like our country is and feels. I stumbled across the Design Filesthis month and i’m excited to go through the old houses…in 2011 at the moment! Looking foward to seeing your bedroom update.

There’s definitely a multitude of gorgeous homes in Australia because I find myself sharing quite a bit of them myself! White floors and plants is hard to beat though…
